Welcome to the Noobian Institute.

At the Institute for noobs (of all kinds mind you) we wish to provide a place where anyone can come to learn more about up and coming games, and yes, even the popular games. The information we will provide will keep you up to date on new releases and potential beta’s floating around. In addition, we will be offering any tips, tricks, or strategies we come up with in our gaming adventures.

Despite the academic front, we are all gamers at heart. Which means you can rest assured that the information you seek will come to you from gamers, for gamers.

Now, some of you may be thinking, “isn’t being a noob (newb, nub, n00b) bad?”. Contrary to popular belief (or someones belief) all Noobs are created equal! Yes, while you may get razzed by people who are more experienced, you will find they are A LOT more accepting of someone whom is willing to learn instead of shouting back at them with incoherent non-sense.

Newbie is a slang term for a newcomer to an Internet activity, for example online gaming. It can also be used to indicate an individual inexperienced in any other activity. It can have derogatory connotations, but is also often used for descriptive purposes only, without a value judgment.
